Measure around the smallest part of the waist.
Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

As others have said, it is a bit tight in the elastic at the bottom of the thighs. I almost went a size larger on my second order but decided to live with it. Nice fit, otherwise.
